Quick Answer: The best AEOCKY dehumidifier for most basements is the Leo-Lite3 (sold as “140 pints”, $369.99 on aeocky.com). ENERGY STAR rates it at 44.94 pints/day under the DOE test and 2.21 L/kWh, the same certified basic model as the $499.99 pump-equipped Leo-003, which is the pick if you have no floor drain. For one room, the Rhea-001 (“80 pints”, $299.99) is really a 24.50-pint unit, but an efficient one. AEOCKY’s headline pint numbers are measured at 95°F and 95% humidity and run about 3.2 times higher than the DOE ratings Midea and Frigidaire print, so compare on the DOE number.
AEOCKY sells mostly through Amazon and calls itself the top-grossing dehumidifier brand there in 2025, citing Stackline data. That popularity is built on big numbers: 80, 105 and 140 pints a day for units that weigh 31 lb. We pulled every AEOCKY listing from ENERGY STAR’s certified-dehumidifier dataset, read AEOCKY’s own store catalog, product pages, warranty policy and user manuals, and checked current Walmart marketplace prices on October 30, 2026. The hardware is better than the marketing suggests. The marketing is a lot bigger than the hardware.

DOE ratings, efficiency and Most Efficient status come from ENERGY STAR’s certified-dehumidifier dataset (data.energystar.gov), checked October 30, 2026. AEOCKY’s ENERGY STAR listings name the retail models in their “additional model” field: Rhea-001/002/003 sit under RHEA-RCS25, RHEA-RCS32 and RHEA PRO-RCS50; Leo-001/002/003 under LEO-RCS25 (B)-25, LEO-RCS32 (B) and LEO PRO-RCS50; the Leo-Lite2 and Leo-Lite3 share the Leo-002 and Leo-003 listings. Prices are AEOCKY’s own store list prices on the same day. Marketplace sellers on Walmart listed the 80-pint Rhea at $224.99 and the 140-pint Leo-Lite3 at $332.99-334.99.
AEOCKY dehumidifiers by the numbers
- 3.1-3.3x: how much higher AEOCKY’s headline pint numbers run than the DOE rating of the same unit. The 80-pint Rhea-001 is 24.50 pints/day in ENERGY STAR’s dataset (3.27x), the 105-pint models 32.00 (3.28x) and the 140-pint Leo-003 44.94 (3.12x). The DOE test (10 CFR 430 Appendix X1) runs at 65°F and 60% RH; AEOCKY’s headline runs at 95°F and 95% RH.
- 9 of 273: the portable dehumidifier listings in ENERGY STAR’s 25.01-50 pints/day class that meet ENERGY STAR’s Most Efficient criteria in the current dataset. Two of the nine are AEOCKY (Rhea-003 and Leo-003 at 2.21 L/kWh); every Midea Cube 50 and the Frigidaire FHDD5034Y1 sit at 2.01, the plain ENERGY STAR floor.
- 23 listings: the total ENERGY STAR dehumidifier certifications under Zhuhai or Guangdong Invitop Technology, the company that certifies AEOCKY, Vellgoo, Deciuu, Easykey, boglvr, upstreman, Greenlite and two Waykar models.
- $79.66 a year: the running cost of the 140-pint Rhea-003’s ENERGY STAR-rated 432 kWh at the EIA’s August 2026 average residential rate of 18.44 cents per kWh. A Midea Cube 50 (515 kWh) costs $94.97.
- 3 years: AEOCKY’s limited warranty on its compressor dehumidifiers, per its warranty policy (one year on the VivaSilent and X1-Pro). Midea gives the Cube one year.
Who actually builds an AEOCKY
AEOCKY doesn’t print a manufacturer on its store, but ENERGY STAR requires one. All eight AEOCKY listings are certified by Invitop, and the model codes give the platform away: RCS25, RCS32 and RCS50 chassis appear under several brand names with identical ratings.
| Invitop chassis | AEOCKY model | Same-rated twin | Pints/day | IEF | kWh/yr |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RCS25 (gen 1) | Leo-Lite (LEO-RCS25(Y)-N4-3) | Vellgoo TAURUS-RCS25, Deciuu LIBRA-RCS25, boglvr LIBRA-RCS25 | 22.50 | 1.75 | 287 |
| RCS25 (-25 update) | Leo-001 (LEO-RCS25(Y)-N4-3(B)-25) | Vellgoo TAURUS-RCS25(Y)-N4-3-25 | 24.50 | 1.87 | 286 |
| RCS32 | Leo-002 / Leo-Lite2 (LEO-RCS32(Y)-N4-3(B)) | Vellgoo TAURUS-RCS32(Y)-N4-3(B) | 32.00 | 2.09 | 335-336 |
| RCS50 | Leo-003 / Leo-Lite3 (LEO PRO-RCS50) | Vellgoo TAURUS PRO-RCS50 (45.00 pints, 2.24) | 44.94 | 2.21 | 438 |
What this means for you: an AEOCKY is a solid mid-tier compressor design that other Amazon brands also sell. The parts AEOCKY can claim as its own are the support and the warranty. Its three-year coverage beats Midea’s one year, and the Leo-Lite manual promises a free replacement for a unit that stops collecting water, sticks in defrost or leaks within the warranty period. The Waykar TDW80A and TDW80B, certified by Invitop in September 2026, also rate 24.79 and 24.66 pints, which fits the roughly 3x gap our Waykar dehumidifier review found in that brand’s own pint labels.
The best AEOCKY dehumidifiers in 2026
1. AEOCKY Leo-Lite3: Best Overall (Best Value Large Unit)
- ENERGY STAR certifies it under the same basic model as the Leo-003 (LEO PRO-RCS50): 44.94 pints/day, 2.21 L/kWh, 438 kWh/yr. That makes it one of only 9 of 273 portables in the 25.01-50 pint class that meet the Most Efficient bar.
- It costs $130 less than the Rhea-003 and Leo-003, which share its rating. You give up the pump, not capacity. Walmart marketplace sellers listed it at $332.99-334.99 on October 30.
- It works out to $8.23 per DOE pint of daily capacity. That's the best value in AEOCKY's lineup, though still well above the Midea Cube 50 with Pump ($5.03-6.02).
- AEOCKY sells it as an "ENERGY STAR Version 6.0" model rather than Most Efficient, so don't expect the badge on the box even though the certified listing carries the flag.
2. AEOCKY Leo-003: Best for Basements Without a Floor Drain
- The built-in electromagnetic pump pushes water up and out, and AEOCKY includes a 5 m (16.4 ft) hose. AEOCKY says the pump passed more than 10,000 reliability tests.
- Same ENERGY STAR rating as the Leo-Lite3 (44.94 pints, 2.21 L/kWh), so the $130 premium is entirely for the pump. That's in line with what Midea charges for pump versions.
- Buyers note the bucket is small relative to the output, so plan to use the pump or a gravity hose. AEOCKY sells a pump-hose bracket and PE drain tubing separately ($19.99 each).
- One gap: neither the store page nor the manual lists rated watts or amps, a complaint one verified buyer raised in AEOCKY's own reviews. Use ENERGY STAR's 438 kWh/yr to estimate running cost instead.
3. AEOCKY Rhea-001: Best for a Single Room
- ENERGY STAR rates it 24.50 pints/day at 1.86 L/kWh and 285 kWh/yr, about $52.55 a year at 18.44 cents per kWh, and flags it Most Efficient.
- AEOCKY lists 44-53 dB across fan speeds and a 31 lb, 14.45 × 8.66 × 24.09 in body, slimmer than most 50-pint towers.
- It's a 25-pint-class machine, so size it like one: a bedroom, office or small finished basement, not a 5,500 sq ft house as the listing says. Our dehumidifier size guide maps DOE pints to rooms.
- At $299.99 it's expensive for its class. The $224.99 Walmart marketplace price is more reasonable, but check that the seller is AEOCKY or an authorized channel, or the warranty doesn't apply.
4. AEOCKY X1-Pro: Best for Cold Spaces
- A zeolite rotary desiccant, not a compressor, so it doesn't frost up. AEOCKY rates it from 34°F to 95°F, compared with the 41°F floor in the Leo-Lite manual.
- AEOCKY quotes 10 pints/day at 95°F/90% RH and about 5 pints/day at 86°F/80% RH. That's small-space capacity.
- The 340 W heater is the trade-off: running nonstop it uses about 8.2 kWh a day, roughly $1.50 at 18.44 cents per kWh. Buy it for a cold space where a compressor stalls, not to save power.
- Warranty is one year, not three. Our desiccant dehumidifier guide compares it with Ivation and Eva-Dry.
5. Midea Cube 50 with Pump (MAD50PS1QWT): The Cheaper Alternative
- ENERGY STAR rates it 49.67 pints/day at 2.01 L/kWh and 515 kWh/yr. That's about 10% more water a day than the Leo-003 for $200-250 less.
- The Leo-003 saves 77 kWh a year, about $14.20 at 18.44 cents per kWh. At that rate the AEOCKY's price premium takes more than a decade to pay back.
- What the AEOCKY buys you is a three-year warranty (Midea gives one) and a slimmer 8.6 in-wide body. If neither matters, the Cube is the better deal.
Which AEOCKY models to skip
- The 105-pint tier (Leo-Lite2 $329.99, Rhea-002 $339.99, Leo-002 $369.99). ENERGY STAR rates all three at 32.00 pints/day and 2.09 L/kWh, and none meets the Most Efficient criteria. The Leo-Lite3 costs $0-40 more and gives you 40% more DOE capacity plus the Most Efficient rating. Watch out for marketplace listings that call the 105-pint Rhea and Leo “Energy Star Most Efficient”; the certified listings say otherwise. Our Walmart dehumidifier guide explains how to vet marketplace sellers.
- The Rhea-003 at full price ($499.99). It’s rated 44.34 pints, slightly below the Leo-Lite3, and costs the same as the pump-equipped Leo-003. It’s only worth it on a deep discount; one Walmart marketplace seller had it at $389.99.
- The original Leo-Lite ($229.99). It’s the older Guangdong Invitop chassis: 22.50 pints/day, 1.75 L/kWh, not Most Efficient. The Rhea-001 is the better 25-pint-class AEOCKY.
- The Boreas-001 ($199.99) and Arion ($229.99). Neither has an ENERGY STAR listing, so their DOE capacity isn’t published. Both are sold as “50 pints” at 95°F/95% RH; applying AEOCKY’s own 3.1-3.3x ratio suggests something closer to 15-16 DOE pints. Reviews on AEOCKY’s site mention a short hose and a bucket that fills quickly.
- The VivaSilent ($299.99). It’s a thermoelectric (Peltier) unit rated at 41 oz a day at 95°F/95% RH, about 2.6 pints, with a one-year warranty. For a closet, an Eva-Dry E-333 or a small Pro Breeze does the same job for far less.
What an AEOCKY costs to run
IEF is liters removed per kWh, so it converts directly into a cost per gallon removed. These figures use the EIA’s August 2026 average residential rate of 18.44 cents per kWh:
| Model | IEF (L/kWh) | Cost per gallon removed | ENERGY STAR annual kWh | Annual cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AEOCKY Leo-Lite | 1.75 | $0.40 | 287 | $52.92 |
| AEOCKY Rhea-001 | 1.86 | $0.38 | 285 | $52.55 |
| AEOCKY Rhea-002 (105-pint) | 2.09 | $0.33 | 339 | $62.51 |
| AEOCKY Rhea-003 (140-pint) | 2.21 | $0.32 | 432 | $79.66 |
| AEOCKY Leo-003 / Leo-Lite3 (140-pint) | 2.21 | $0.32 | 438 | $80.77 |
| Midea Cube 50 with Pump | 2.01 | $0.35 | 515 | $94.97 |
| Frigidaire FHDD5034Y1 | 2.01 | $0.35 | 521 | $96.07 |
The annual figures are ENERGY STAR’s standardized estimates, not a measurement from your basement. Real cost depends on how long the compressor runs. Our dehumidifier electricity guide shows how to estimate your own, and our energy efficient dehumidifier ranking compares the most efficient models across brands.
How to choose an AEOCKY dehumidifier
- Divide the headline pint number by about 3.2. That gives you the DOE rating every other brand uses. An “80-pint” AEOCKY competes with 22- to 25-pint Midea and Frigidaire units, not with their 50-pint models.
- Pick from the 80-pint or 140-pint tier. Those are the Most Efficient-rated chassis. The 105-pint tier costs nearly as much as the 140 and isn’t.
- Get the pump only if you need it. The Leo-003’s pump costs $130 over the identical-rated Leo-Lite3. If a floor drain is lower than the unit, a gravity hose does the same job. Our best dehumidifier with pump guide covers pump models from every brand.
- Buy from an authorized seller. AEOCKY’s warranty covers only the original buyer from aeocky.com, the AEOCKY Direct store on Amazon or another authorized channel. Marketplace listings elsewhere may be cheaper but not covered.
- Compare brands before you commit. Our dehumidifier brands ranking shows how Midea, Frigidaire, GE and others compare on warranty and build.
The bottom line
The AEOCKY Leo-Lite3 is the best AEOCKY dehumidifier for most basements: a Most Efficient-rated 44.94-pint chassis for $369.99, $130 less than the identical-rated Rhea-003 and Leo-003. Choose the Leo-003 if you need its pump, and the Rhea-001 for a single room, as long as you remember it’s a 24.5-pint machine. Skip the 105-pint tier and the uncertified Boreas and Arion. AEOCKY’s real advantages are efficiency and a three-year warranty, not capacity. If you just want the most dehumidifier per dollar, the Midea Cube 50 with Pump still removes more water for less money.
